Sidney Van Ommeslaghe joined the bar in 2014.
Prior to that, he worked as a legal advisor and legislator at the Federal Public Service Economy, Middle Classes and Energy.
His practice at the bar focuses on litigation before civil and commercial courts and on contract law, including real estate contracts (lease, sale, business real estate) and commercial law contracts (terms and conditions, corporate and commercial contracts).
Sidney is experienced in complex litigation involving several branches of law and sometimes several lawyers and/or experts.
He also has extensive experience in negotiating amicable settlements, both before and during proceedings.
In addition to the above, Sidney also pleads before the criminal and police courts.
In addition to his personal practice, Sidney Van Ommeslaghe works in synergy with the Seeds of Law team since 2019, in particular in the real estate and commercial and economic law practice.
As a trilingual lawyer, he teaches aspects of Dutch legal terminology at university since 2017.
