Lidia Mahillon graduated as Master of Laws from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2015, specializing in International Commercial Law and Arbitration.
She then obtained a postgraduate degree (LL.M.) at the University of Warwick in 2016 with Distinction (1:1), followed by a M.Res. at the International University College of Turin in 2017, to deepen her knowledge of investment treaties, value chains and commodities trading.
She then worked within a think tank specialised in political and scientific advocacy for sustainable agricultural policies at the EU and UN institutions.
